700 taekwondists will participate at the Sofia Open in Bulgaria

At least 700 competitors from 150 teams and 43 countries will take part in the upcoming International taekwondo tournaments "Sofia Open" and "Sofia Open 2020 Beginners".

The events are scheduled for March 7-8 and they will take place in Sofia, Bulgaria. There is still one week left until the registration period is over.

This will be the first time Bulgaria is hosting a tournament with ranking points (E1) for juniors and cadets, as those points will serve to form the European ranking list among juniors and cadets.

Traditionally "Sofia Open" is a "G1" tournament which means men and women can win points for the Olympic and world rankings.
