An illegal blow nearly cost Chakir a sure win

Ilyass Chakir clearly showed some skill against Omar Moreno but one bad mistake nearly cost him allot because he received a point deduction for an illegal blow.

Judge Peter Martinov gave him an official warning in the second round when he kicked Moreno to the head while he was on the ground. The American continued but only to go for an extra round and there he was knocked out after three knockdowns.

At the end it was a clear mismatch because Ilyass Chakir was just on another level.
