CSKA won two titles in the girls' state championship, senior age in Stara Zagora.
Sofia Mavrova (44 kg) and Maraya Markova (57) came first. Alexandra Tsenova from CSKA Sf is first in the 70-kilogram category.
In the junior category, Haskovo left with two titles, won by Hristo Shulekov (50) and Vladimir Todorov (66). The titles in the other 6 categories were won by 6 other clubs, with Tsvetomir Valkov prevailing over his teammate from Kodokan (Pz) Ivan Ivanov in the super heavyweight category over 90 kg.
480 competitors took part in the tournament, with 336 in the junior category, the rest in the girls' category. The most numerous category in the junior category was 73 kg, in which 57 competitors took to the tatami, and in the girls' category 57 kg with 29 participants.
The competition was the first of the season on the state calendar. The president of the federation, Rumen Stoilov, greeted the participants.
Guests of the bouts were also representatives of the municipality, Nikolay Dikov and Petar Krumov, as well as Atanas Dimitrov, organizer of the "Sports Bases".
Mayor Zhivko Todorov received an honorary black belt from the organizers for his contribution to the development of sports in the city. The mayor missed the championship due to work commitments, and the award was received by the secretary, Nikolay Dikov.
The next competition on the calendar is in Gotse Delchev on March 14 and 15, when the state championship for juniors and girls is held.
