The anniversary edition gives Dutch talents a chance to shine alongside legends
Less than two weeks remain until SENSHI 30 Grand Prix in Varna — the anniversary edition that will bring together international fighters and major legends of combat sports. For Dutch talents, the tournament is becoming an important stage where they can prove themselves to the world, reports the Dutch media Vechtsportinfo.nl. https://shorturl.at/NpSha
The gala will take place on February 28 at the Palace of Culture and Sports in Varna. Eighteen fighters from 13 countries will compete at SENSHI 30, with 12 of them entering the first SENSHI Grand Prix tournament in the 75 kg division. The program also includes three superfights, giving the event a distinctly international character.
A stage where the Dutch prove themselves
In a short time, SENSHI has established itself as a significant force in kickboxing. For fighters from the Netherlands, it offers the opportunity to test themselves against opponents from different countries and gain valuable international experience outside their domestic competitions.
Fighters such as Thomas Bridgewater — brother of Glory star Levi Rigters — have already competed in the SENSHI ring, along with Dexter Suisse, a training partner of former champion Rico Verhoeven. Errol Koning also impressed the international audience with his performances. For these athletes, SENSHI is not just a stopover, but a chance to prove themselves on a broad European stage.
The support of legends adds weight
The anniversary edition will be even more special thanks to the presence of legends such as Ernesto Hoost, Semmy Schilt, Albert Kraus, Andy Souwer, and Nicholas Pettas, who will serve as judges and referees.
These former champions are among the biggest names in kickboxing history, and their involvement brings additional prestige and international attention to the tournament. In the days surrounding the event, they will also lead training sessions during an international training camp.
With fighters from 13 countries, four Bulgarian participants, and the backing of world-famous champions, SENSHI 30 continues to strengthen its position as a major event in international kickboxing.
