Angelo Mirno (Italy) finished in third place at the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix in the under-85 kg category after defeating Olivier Langloir-Ross (Canada) by technical knockout.
Mirno entered the tournament as a reserve fighter but made the most of the opportunity, securing a prestigious third-place finish with a convincing performance against the Canadian.
Langloir-Ross showed tremendous determination to reach the podium and gave everything he had, but the accumulated fatigue from his previous fights took its toll. Despite his fighting spirit, Mirno was the fresher and more effective competitor throughout the bout.
Shortly before the end of the fight, the Italian landed a precise kick that sent Langloir-Ross to the canvas. The Canadian was unable to get back to his feet in time, and the referee stopped the contest, awarding Mirno the victory by technical knockout.
It is worth noting that Angelo Mirno fought one fewer bout during the tournament after entering as a reserve fighter, giving him an additional advantage in the final stage of the competition.
With his strong performance, the Italian proved that he deserved his place among the best competitors at the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix.
