Joshua Akingbade Conquers the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix with a Knockout in the Final

The Irishman triumphed in the -85 kg category after an impressive performance and three convincing victories.

Joshua Akingbade is the new SENSHI 32 Grand Prix champion in the -85 kg category after defeating Fabian Lorito (Italy) by knockout in the final.

The Irish fighter fully deserved to claim the title after delivering an exceptional performance and dominating all three of his bouts in the tournament. Akingbade showcased a combination of technique, power, and outstanding tactical preparation, leaving no doubt that he was the best competitor in the division.

In the final bout against Fabian Lorito, the Irishman once again displayed an impressive arsenal of attacks and controlled the pace of the fight. The decisive moment came in the second round when a powerful body kick landed cleanly on the Italian. Lorito was sent to the canvas and was unable to recover before the referee’s ten-count expired, handing Akingbade a knockout victory.

The Irishman’s path to the trophy was equally impressive. In his opening bout, he defeated Bulgarian fighter Ali Yuzeir, before delivering a spectacular knockout victory over Ulrik Bokeme (Switzerland) in the semifinal.

With his performance at the SENSHI 32 Grand Prix, Joshua Akingbade made a strong statement as one of the rising names in combat sports and deservedly lifted the championship trophy in Varna.
