The record-breaking number of fighters forced the coordinators of the camp to divide the karatekas into a larger number of groups than usual, as they were selected by a way of age and qualification.

The main focus of this year's camp is the new regulations and the new league of the Kyokushin World Union - KWU International Professional League. The campers were amazed by the fact that the kickboxing legend Peter Aerts was there to guide and conduct some of the training sessions. He even held the first of many special Kyokushin full contact training.

Those unique practices will be held twice a day during the whole Summer Camp.
