On February 28 in Varna, the anniversary edition of SENSHI 30 took place — an event that will remain in history with the first-ever Grand Prix tournament in the -75 kg division. In addition to the high-stakes tournament, fans witnessed three super fights under KWU Full Contact rules, delivering spectacular and closely contested battles. In one of the most anticipated clashes in the -70 kg division, Slovenian star Samo Petje defeated Japan’s Hirokatsu Miyagi after a fast-paced and intense bout.
Immediately after the fight, the team of Boec.bg spoke with the Japanese fighter to hear his perspective from inside the ring. Miyagi showed great sportsmanship, admitting that in this match his opponent had been the better fighter. He explained that he and his coach will carefully analyze the bout to identify the mistakes he made and determine what needs to be improved.
The Japanese fighter emphasized that fights like this provide valuable experience and motivation to grow, acknowledging that he needs to train even harder to reach the next level. Despite the loss, Miyagi expressed gratitude for the opportunity to compete at SENSHI and face such high-level opponents.
He described the experience as incredible and said he hopes to return to the SENSHI ring in the future — stronger and better prepared.
