Today we're switching the kickboxing promotions and going back 7 years ago.

In 2013, the newly found Dutch league GLORY was making its first steps towards world domination in the world of pro kickboxing.

"GLORY 11" marks the 8th event that the organization is putting in the US. The heavyweight championship tournament semi-finals and final is taking place as there will be a new heavyweight GLORY champion after Semmy Schilt vacating the title earlier that year.

The semi-finals are more than promising: Anderson Silva against Daniel Ghita and Rico Verhoeven against Gokhan Saki.

The bout betwwen Verhoeven, 24, and Saki, 29, becomes one for the ages even though there are some pretty controversial moments thoughout the whole fight that are still being debated till this day.
