Joshua Franco is still the WBA World Super Flyweight champion of the world following his third fight against Andrew Moloney. Franco managed to defend his belt via UD win (100-90, 100-90 and 99-91).

The fight took place at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, Tulsa, US, and it was a masterpiece by the 25-year-old champion.

Franco was the agressor in the early rounds, landing almost everything he threw at Moloney. The Asutralian was relying too much on hhis countershots and at times he looked too passive.

In the fifth round Moloney had his big moment when he dropped Franco with a big right, but after a review saw the punch not landing. That was probably his best moment, as Franco got back in the driver seat and controlled the pace and the distance of the fight till the very end.

That was Franco's second victory over Australia's Moloney. The second fight between them was ruled a controversial "No Contest" due to a headbutt in the early rounds which closed Franco's eye.
