Chris Eubank Jr. could be facing Liam Smith in December

An intriguing fight between two of the finest British boxers could be happening in December.

A fight between Chris Eubank Jr. and former WBO middleweight champion Liam Smith could take place on December 17 or in January 2023.

Eubank had to fight his fellow countryman Conor Benn in October, but Benn tested positive for banned substances and the fight fell off.

Eubank's last fight took place in February 2022 when he defeated Liam Williams.

Smith is on a three fight winning streak. He defeated Hassan Mwakinyo in September via TKO in the fourth round.
