Chukanova and Poptoleva go for a medal today

Three matches with Bulgarian participation will be played on the fourth day of the Strandzha Cup. Two of them can secure a medal for our country from the 77th edition of the oldest international boxing tournament in Europe.

In the category up to 51 kilograms, last year's trophy holder Zlatislava Chukanova will face Ukrainian Alyona Unkovska. The match is in ring A at 14:30.

At the same time, Venelina Poptoleva will box with Irish Caitlin Friars in ring B. If successful, both will qualify for the semi-finals and will guarantee themselves at least bronze medals from the tournament.

In the ninth match in ring A, we will also see Rumen Rumenov. In the category up to 65 kilograms, he will compete with Levan Demurovi (Georgia).
