Brandun Lee Signs with Zuffa Boxing, Eyes Breakthrough to the Top

One of boxing’s most promising yet slowly developing talents, Brandun Lee, has taken a major step in his career by signing with Zuffa Boxing.

According to BoxingScene, the undefeated American confirmed the deal to ES News while training under respected coach Robert Garcia.

There is no official date yet for his debut under the new banner, but it is expected to take place at one of Zuffa’s upcoming spring events—an opportunity that could give his career the long-awaited boost.

Lee holds an impressive record of 30 wins with no losses (23 by knockout) and has long been considered one of the sport’s brightest young prospects. However, his development appeared to stall in recent years, particularly after his win over Zachary Ochoa in April 2022 in Arlington, which ended his streak of 15 consecutive knockouts.

Since then, he has fought only five times, with most of those bouts going to decision. Notably, three of his last four fights were scheduled for eight rounds, despite him already transitioning to the 10-round level and seemingly being ready for tougher competition.

Outside the ring, Lee achieved a significant personal milestone by graduating from California State University, San Bernardino in 2025 with a degree in criminal justice.

In his most recent bout on June 21 in Newark, Lee outpointed Elias Araujo in an eight-round fight held slightly above the super lightweight limit (63 kg)—the division in which he has spent his entire nine-year professional career.

With a new contract and a stronger platform behind him, Brandun Lee now appears closer than ever to making his long-anticipated leap into boxing’s elite.
