Chisora at Career-High Weight Ahead of Final Fight

Brit to outweigh Wilder by nearly 18 kg at the O2 Arena

Chisora at Career-High Weight Ahead of Final Fight

Derek Chisora will hold a significant weight advantage over Deontay Wilder in their highly anticipated heavyweight clash this Saturday in London.

At the official weigh-in at York Hall, the Brit tipped the scales at 120.9 kg—the highest weight of his career. In comparison, Wilder came in at 102.7 kg, creating a gap of nearly 18 kilograms between the two.

Chisora’s previous record was 117.9 kg for his third fight against Tyson Fury in 2022, but this time the veteran is clearly relying on size and physical strength for his milestone bout.

For Chisora (36-16, 23 KOs), this will be the 50th and final fight of his career, as he has already confirmed he will retire regardless of the result.

Meanwhile, Wilder (44-4-1, 43 KOs) enters the fight aiming to return to winning ways after losing four of his last six bouts. The American insists his confidence remains high and that he is ready to showcase his knockout power once again.

Despite their mutual respect outside the ring, both fighters promised fireworks:

“I’ll start so fast this fight won’t go 12 rounds. I need war and pain,” said Chisora.

The Brit also didn’t hide his emotions ahead of his final walk:

“It will be very emotional. It’s something beautiful,” he shared, admitting he expects to get teary during his entrance at the O2 Arena.

All signs point to an explosive showdown that could mark the end of the career of one of heavyweight boxing’s most entertaining fighters.
