llie Scotney became the youngest undisputed champion in British boxing history after an impressive victory over Mea Motu Flores at the Olympia event in London.
Already holding the Ring, WBO, IBF, and WBC titles, Scotney added the WBA belt to complete the full set of championships in the 122-pound division—achieving the feat in just her 12th professional fight.
The 28-year-old delivered a composed and high-level performance against the tough Mexican opponent, who pushed her throughout the contest. Despite the pressure, Scotney remained calm and showcased the most complete display of her career so far.
Judges Glen Dawson and Sven Grafe scored the fight a dominant 100-90, while Victor Loughlin saw it closer at 96-94. In the end, Scotney secured a well-deserved unanimous decision victory.
The win also carried deep emotional significance, as the champion fulfilled a promise made to her late grandmother, Eileen—to become an undisputed champion.
“She was relentless from the first bell. A true champion and my toughest test. I gave it everything tonight,” Scotney said after the fight.
From the opening bell, the bout was fought at a high pace. Flores looked to apply pressure and push forward, but Scotney responded with sharp counterpunching, boxing effectively off the back foot and landing precise shots.
As the fight progressed, the Brit imposed her style, controlled the distance, neutralized her opponent’s attacks, and firmly established herself as the undisputed leader of the division.
