Eddie Hearn hints at blockbuster Joshua vs. Wilder fight

Eddie Hearn, promoter of former IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua, commented on a potential fight between AJ and 39-year-old former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder.

“Wilder said to Anthony as he was leaving the ring, ‘Let’s make it happen.’ AJ just gave him an icy stare. But he could fight him, no problem. And in the fight against Chisora, Deontay looked better. Look, Chisora is a tough opponent. He is a hard nut to crack. He is not easy to beat. Wilder impressed me more than I expected. A fight between Deontay and Joshua would be epic,” Hearn said in an interview with the YouTube channel Fight Hub TV.

Over the weekend, the Bronze Bomber defeated Chisora by split decision and recorded two consecutive victories for the first time since 2019.
