Former heavyweight world champion Tyson Fury returned to winning ways with a dominant unanimous decision victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov (120-108 x2, 119-109). The bout headlined a boxing event at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
With the win, Fury snapped a two-fight losing streak following back-to-back defeats to undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk. The victory marks the 35th win of the 37-year-old Brit’s professional career.
“The Gypsy King” showcased his class and control throughout the fight, leaving no doubt about his superiority over Makhmudov.
Immediately after the bout, Fury called out Anthony Joshua, who was watching from ringside. Joshua responded by accepting the challenge but made it clear the fight would happen on his terms and timeline.
