The path to medals at the World Cup in Brazil has already been mapped out. Our national boxing teams, led by coaches Joel Arate and Borislav Georgiev, have learned the names of their first opponents at the extremely prestigious tournament in Foz do Iguaçu.
Medalists from Olympic Games, world and continental championships will take part in the competition. Among them are the leading Bulgarian boxers, who are ready to show their best and once again delight with their performances.
Today's program will include one match with Bulgarian participation. Semyon Boldyrev, fifth at the World Championship in Liverpool, will have a very difficult task. Our 19-year-old talent will box in the 90-kilogram category against Emra Yaşar. His opponent from Turkey is the current two-time European champion for men under 23. Their match is today at around 20:00 Bulgarian time.
