British boxers Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua are set to face each other this November, according to Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, who made the announcement on his Facebook page.
“To my friends in the UK, it’s happening. The deal is done,” he wrote.
The newspaper Daily Mirror reports that the fight will take place in November, although neither fighter’s camp has officially confirmed the news.
The 37-year-old Fury holds a professional record of 35 wins (24 by knockout), 2 losses, and 1 draw. In January 2025, he announced his retirement, but returned to the ring with a victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11 this year. From 2020 to 2024, Fury held the WBC world title, which he lost in May 2024 to Oleksandr Usyk—a fighter who defeated him twice. Back in 2015, Fury beat Wladimir Klitschko to claim the IBF, WBA, and IBO world titles. He later stepped away from boxing for two and a half years due to health and substance abuse issues.
Joshua, 36, has recorded 29 wins (26 by knockout) and 4 losses in his career. In his most recent bout on December 19, 2025, he knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round. Joshua has held the IBF, WBA, IBO, and WBO titles at various points. He also suffered two losses to Usyk, then put together a four-fight winning streak before losing to Daniel Dubois in September 2025 for the IBF world title.
