Bivol explains why he’d prefer to fight Beterbiev in the USA

Former undisputed light heavyweight champion Dmitry Bivol explained why he would prefer to have his third fight against Artur Beterbiev in the United States rather than in Russia, where both fighters are from.

“Of course, throughout my career I’ve always wanted to have more fights in the States. Because everything spreads to the rest of the world from the U.S. Then Saudi Arabia emerged, and the scale there was so big that all the major fights were taking place in Riyadh. And of course, a fight like a trilogy should appeal to a large audience. If it’s held somewhere abroad, maybe more international journalists will be able to travel there and more people will be able to see the fight,” Bivol said.
