Zlatislava Chukanova opens Bulgaria's participation in the World Cup

Zlatislava Chukanova will have the honor of opening the Bulgarian participation at the World Boxing Cup in Guiyang, China. The winner of the Strandja Cup for the last two years will have an opponent from Mongolia in her first match. In the 51 kg category, the European vice-champion will face Yesugen Oyuntsetseg. Their match is in the early session on Monday, June 15. Zlati is expected to box with the Mongolian at around 11:30 a.m.

In addition to Chukanova, Kiril Georgiev will also box for Bulgaria at the World Cup in China on Monday. In the heaviest (+90 kg) category, our national team will face Arman Mahanov (Uzbekistan). The match is in the late program and is expected to start at around 4:30 p.m. Bulgarian time.

We will see two more Bulgarians in the ring in Guiyang for the World Cup. World vice-champion Rami Kiwan (75 kg) will box on June 19 with the winner of the match between Timur Nurseitov (Kazakhstan) and Taj O'Donnell (Ireland). 5-time Strandja Cup winner and third place at the Liverpool World Championships Radoslav Rosenov (60 kg) awaits Adam Heshon (Ireland) or Lunda Gantumur (Mongolia). His match is scheduled for June 17.
