Agit Kabayel: I'm Ready to Defend My Title Against Anyone

Newly crowned WBC heavyweight champion Agit Kabayel has declared that he is ready to make the first defense of his title against any of the division's top contenders. The German, who inherited the belt after Oleksandr Usyk vacated the championship, is targeting a return to the ring in September or October.

“I'm ready to fight anyone. Here's my number—just give me a call. I want competition, and I want the best,” Kabayel told Sky Sports.

The undefeated heavyweight also called out former world champions Tyson Fury and Anthony Joshua, suggesting that the two British stars should face each other first, with the winner earning the right to challenge him for the WBC crown.

Kabayel added that he would also welcome a fight with the winner of the upcoming clash between Filip Hrgović and Moses Itauma, as well as a unification bout against the future WBO champion, who will be determined in the rematch between Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois.

“It doesn't matter who stands across from me. Just tell me the date and the place,” the champion said confidently.

Fresh off claiming the WBC title, Kabayel has made it clear that he intends to be an active champion and is eager to test himself against the biggest names in the heavyweight division.
