Darren Till is currently deep in a grueling fight camp, preparing to face the legendary Yoel Romero. Having already made his bare-knuckle debut, Till is focused on the physical challenge ahead while launching a brand-new combat sports venture, Gorilla Promotions. Despite the massive undertaking of starting a company, Till explained that he experiences zero business stress because his partner handles the logistics, leaving him to serve simply as the public face of the brand.
Turning his attention to mainstream boxing, Till shared his raw, unfiltered thoughts on former heavyweight king Anthony Joshua during an interview with TopSport Boxing. While emphasizing his utmost respect for Joshua as an athlete, Till boldly stated that "AJ" has fundamentally changed and has never been the same fighter since his shocking knockout loss to Andy Ruiz Jr.
Till further criticized how Joshua’s career is being managed, claiming promoter Eddie Hearn is simply trying to "milk the cow" to extract maximum financial profit while the star's drawing power is still high. Touching on the long-discussed mega-fight between Joshua and Tyson Fury, Till noted the matchup has lost its peak luster, stating it would have been vastly more interesting five years ago.
