Rogan blasted the close official scorecards (96-94, 95-95, 95-95) as completely "ridiculous," arguing they reveal blatant corruption rather than simple incompetence. Having watched Verhoeven win almost every single round, Rogan adamantly stated the referee would have never waved off the fight if Usyk had been in Verhoeven's position. He declared that the kickboxer thoroughly earned a rematch based on his dominant performance.

Verhoeven shared his deep disappointment with the aftermath of the event. While the athletic commission openly agreed that the official stoppage occurred after the end-of-round bell had already rung, his team's official appeal was completely rejected. Adding to his frustration, Verhoeven revealed that nobody in the boxing world is actively trying to arrange a logical rematch.
