Teofimo Lopez Outboxes Rolly Romero to Win World Title (VIDEO)

Teofimo Lopez made boxing history by defeating Rolly Romero at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Lopez won a 12-round majority decision to capture the WBA welterweight championship belt. With this huge victory, Lopez officially becomes a three-division world champion, adding a new belt to his previous titles.

The fight showed two completely different styles. Lopez used his fast jab, smart footwork, and clean counter-punches to control almost every round. Romero spent most of the night waiting to land one big knockout punch. He finally got his chance in the fifth round, landing a brutal left hook that badly wobbled Lopez. However, Lopez stayed on his feet, recovered quickly, and went right back to outboxing Romero for the rest of the match.

When the fight ended, the judges' scores were a bit surprising. One judge called it a tie, but the other two gave Lopez the victory with scores of 115-113 and 116-112. Romero was furious with the decision, calling the result a complete "robbery" and demanding a rematch. Lopez did not care about the complaints and celebrated his historic win
