Jake Paul Plans Return to the Ring by the End of the Year

Tommy Fury rematch is among the leading options for the American’s next fight

Jake Paul is targeting a return to the ring before the end of the year, with his team already exploring potential opponents. His promotional partner Nakisa Bidarian revealed that Paul is expected to begin sparring in September and is highly motivated to get back to boxing.

“He’ll be cleared for sparring in the middle of September, and the goal is to get him back in the ring by the end of the year. It’s not so much about his ability to come back as it is about the business, the timing, the arenas and so on. But he’s eager to get back in the ring,” Bidarian told talkSPORT.

Bidarian identified Tommy Fury as the most logical option for Paul’s comeback. Fury handed Paul the only defeat of his professional boxing career in 2023.

“The most appropriate and sensible opponent is Tommy Fury. His representatives just need to help us get a reasonable deal done. In the past, they’ve been unreasonable with the money,” Bidarian said.

According to Bidarian, the financial demands from Fury’s camp could become the biggest obstacle to making the rematch happen. Nevertheless, he believes the British boxer is interested in a second fight, while stressing that Paul has several other options for his return.
