Mike Perry Loses After Horrific Shoulder Injury

The American suffered an injury in the opening round and was stopped by replacement opponent Brandon Jenkins

Mike Perry endured a nightmare night at Brand Duel in Orlando, suffering a dislocated shoulder before losing by technical knockout to late replacement Brandon Jenkins.

Perry was originally scheduled to face Dillon Danis, but Danis withdrew just 48 hours before the event due to an injury. As a result, “The King of Violence” accepted a last-minute matchup with Jenkins.

The fight started at a frantic pace, with Perry immediately moving forward aggressively. Jenkins responded with sharp combinations and even landed an impressive spinning elbow.

Perry managed to connect with several solid punches, including a powerful left hand, but it was during one of the exchanges that he suffered the serious injury.

Perry’s shoulder visibly popped out of place, and he immediately began showing signs of intense pain. However, the referee allowed the fight to continue, and Jenkins quickly took advantage of the situation.

The replacement fighter landed a heavy kick that sent Perry into the ropes before following him to the ground and unloading with punches.

The referee stepped in and stopped the fight at 2:38 of the opening round, giving Jenkins a technical knockout victory.

After the bout, Perry remained near the ropes while the medical team attended to him and his injured shoulder.
