Promising American boxer Diego Pacheco will return to the ring on November 14 as part of a Matchroom event, according to Dan Rafael. The 25-year-old unbeaten fighter will face his 30-year-old compatriot Dariush Fouljham in a super-middleweight bout.
Pacheco is ranked No. 2 by the WBO, No. 3 by the WBC, No. 6 by the WBA and No. 14 by the IBF, but despite his high rankings, he has so far turned down eliminator bouts against Hamza Sheeraz and Christian Mbilli. WBO president Gustavo Olivieri also stated that the American has shown no interest in the opportunity to fight for the organization’s title.
Fouljham is ranked fifth by the WBA but already has one defeat on his professional record. Last year, he lost his first WBA title eliminator to Bektemir Melikuziev.
