Joshua Van and Manel Kape have completely ignited the UFC flyweight division after getting into a savage, highly personal argument on X (formerly Twitter). The online fight started when the 24-year-old champion, Joshua Van, posted a blunt message targeting Kape's history of missing weight for his past matches. "Start cutting now cuz u better make weight," Van wrote angrily on his page, adding that fans do not want to see any more weight-related excuses.
The callout instantly triggered Manel Kape, who fired back with a wave of mocking insults. Kape brought up Van's past knockout loss to Charles Johnson and weirdly promised to "change his diapers" inside the Octagon. "They told me you weren't sure about facing your dad, but I guess there's nowhere left to run," Kape replied, claiming the extra weight he is currently putting on will simply help him knock Van out even faster.
Van quickly clapped back by making fun of online rumors about Kape's physical appearance, telling him he has been "too busy shopping for bras" to know what is going on. Kape tried to get the last word by joking that he was actually shopping for diaper insurance for Van, leading the champion to question why Kape is so strangely obsessed with baby items. With their war of words getting nastier by the second, UFC fans are fully convinced that a massive flyweight championship showdown between the two rivals will be booked very soon.
