New venue emerges as favorite to land Joshua-Ruiz 2

Surprising or not, we have a new favorite for the landing of the highly anticipated rematch between Andy Ruiz Jr. (33-1) and Anthony Joshua (22-1).

In the last months, Eddie Hearn repeatedly stated that there are only two possible venues - Madison Square Garden in New York and Principality Stadium in Cardiff. It seems though, there's a third party that's willing to get involved, according to World Boxing News.

Saudi Arabia is in the driver's seat to land the enormous fight this fall, but nothing more has been said. Earlier today, the former unified world champion said that it doesn't really matter to him where he'll fight Ruiz, but his preference is Cardiff.

The Arab money has landed another Brit top boxer this summer. Just a month ago, Amir Khan fought in Jeddah against Billy Dib. The bout was nothing to be interested in, but Khan cashed in a £7 million.
