Michael Hunter to fight in December

American heavyweight Michel Hunter is set to return to the ring this upcoming December.

"The Bounty" will fight on the Gilberto Ramirez - Alfonso Lopez undercard that will take place on December 18 in Texas, US.

Hunter, 32, will be facing Chauncy "Hillyard Hammer" Welliver (57-13-5, 23 KOs), the former World Boxing Council (WBC) Continental Americas champion.

The last time Hunter stepped inside the ropes was last December when he fought Russia's Alexander Povetkin with the fight ending in a draw.

Welliver, 37, was last seen in August 2020 when he was TKO'd by Cassius Chaney in the 4th round.
