Matchroom Boxing has announced that their offer for staging the IBF heavyweight title eliminator between Croatia's Filip Hrgovic and the American Michael Hunter has been accepted and they've won the purse bid.

Neither a location nor a date has been declared for the heavyweight showdown between those two.

It's worth noting that whoever emerges victorious and gains the right to be called the number one contender, it will take a while for the IBF belt to be defended. The IBF belt was on the line recently when Anthony Joshua defeated his mandatory in the like of Kubrat Pulev.
Hrgovic hasn't fought since last November when he defeated Rydell Booker via TKO.
Hunter was last seen inside the ropes in December when he beat his fellow countryman Shawn Laughery via KO.
