Dillian Whyte has broken his social-media silence ahead of his heavyweight title fight with Tyson Fury, just over a week before the bout.

The two Brits are facing each other on April 23 at Wembley Stadium in London with the WBC heavyweight crown on the line. This will be Fury's first fight on British soil in four years.

Whyte is the mandatory challenger for the gold and green belt, but he has chosen not to be part of the build up and the hype of the bout. "the Body Snatcher" didn't attend the first press conference which is pretty odd for a fighter of his magnitude.

But now Whyte has taken to social media to let fans know he is still preparing for the event, which will be Fury's second title defence since winning the WBC belt in 2020. He posted an Instagram video showing his intensive cardio training.

He said: "I’m ready. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone on the 23rd of April at Wembley Stadium. #LetsGooo." Whyte's pre-fight messaging has been mostly done through lawyers, where he has threatened a number of actions against promoter Frank Warren who won the purse bid for the bout with a world record £31million offer.
