Adrien Broner arrested again for probation violation

Cincinatti.com reports that Adrien Broner was arrested in Kentucky yesterday for an outstanding warrant in Ohio, which stems from “The Problem” violating the terms of his probation from a 2019 plea deal.

Per the report, Broner (34-4-1, 24 KO) had his probation extended until April 2022 back in March and “was also ordered to enter an intensive outpatient treatment program.” He did not do so, resulting in the current situation.

Broner actually has considerably more arrests than wins these last few years; last February’s questionable decision over Jovanie Santiago was his first since narrowly beating Adrian Granados in February 2017. He’s still got a name, though, so you can expect plenty of people to throw their hats in the ring when he inevitably escapes with minimal punishment again.
