Bulgarian Confederation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai Honors Its Best Athletes for 2025

On December 5 in Varna, Bulgaria, during the “Golden Belt” 2025 ceremony, the annual awards of the National Association of Combat Sports in Bulgaria were presented. The Bulgarian Confederation of Kickboxing and Muay Thai announced its most successful athletes of the past year.

The highest distinction among men – “Best Athlete of 2025” – was awarded to Diyan Dimitrov, world champion in the K1 style up to 67 kg at the WAKO World Championship for men and women in Abu Dhabi.

In the women’s category, the “Best Athlete of 2025” award was presented to Aleksandra Dimitrova, world champion in full contact up to 56 kg at the WAKO World Championship for men and women in Abu Dhabi.

The “Best Coach of 2025” recognition was awarded to Dragomir Yordanov, one of the most respected coaches of young Bulgarian kickboxers. His athletes, among whom are Diyan Dimitrov and Julien Rikov, demonstrate impressive achievements, proving his dedication and professionalism in the sport.
