Bulgaria’s Dragomir Petrov looking to shine at SENSHI 13

One of the best Bulgarian fighters – Dragomir Petrov, will once again grace the ring of SENSHI.

The 28-year-old Bulgarian will be on the hunt of a major come back, as he lost his previous fight against Brazil’s Bruno Gazani. This time Petrov will square off against Spain’s Aissam Chadid with the fight taking palce on September 10 on the beach of Saints Constantine and Helena, Bulgaria. The fight night kicks off at 7:00 p.m. EEST and you can buy tickets from HERE.

The bout will be conducted under the KWU Full Contact rules in the -75 kg category.

Dragomir is a four-time national champion of Bulgaria in kickboxing, and in 2019 he won the European title in Muay Thai at EMC. This will be the seventh match under the SENSHI flag for Petrov, who lost in his penultimate match in December, and the came back with victory over Sergio Sanchez at SENSHI 11 in February.

Drago lost after an additional round to Romanian Tudor Potoroaca in a match of the tenth edition of SENSHI . His debut was at SENSHI 6, after he knocked out Omar Magomedov in Kamchia in the third round. At SENSHI 8 Petrov again recorded a brutal knockout on his account, but this time in the second round against the Spaniard Pedro Granho. At SENSHI 9 in Kamchia, he recorded his third consecutive success, defeating another representative of the Spanish school – Carlos Garcia.

The 27-year-old Chadid will be making his SENSHI debut. He is a national and European ISKA champion and has won the “Glory of hero” tournament.

The fight night will be broadcast live on Bulgaria ON AIR and Max Sport 2 for Bulgaria, as well as in real-time worldwide on American television FITE, Senshi.com, Boec.bg, Boec.com, kwunion.com and Kyokushin Karate News.
