Conor motivated for his own comeback by Nate Diaz’s perfromance

It seems Nate Diaz victory over Anthony Pettis last weekend has impressed an old foe of the Stockton native.

Former two-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor congratulated Nate for his astonishing return at UFC 241, with the Irish stating that Nate motivated him for “his own comeback”.

Yesterday we marked the three-year anniversary from one of the biggest fights in UFC history – Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor 2. The pair met for a second time on August 20, 2016, a few months after Nate submitted “The Notorious” at UFC 196.

McGregor hasn’t fought since last October when UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov defeated him. Conor’s name though is still in the everyday news, but most of the times – for the wrong reasons.

UFC President Dana White stated several times this year that the Irish will make his comeback by the end of 2019, but at this point, there is nothing official from neither sides.
