Dillian Whyte: Derek Chisora got robbed against Joseph Parker

Dillian Whyte and Derek Chisora aren’t exactly the best of friends — Whyte recently called Chisora “a fucking idiot” — but Whyte is backing his old rival’s argument after today’s controversial scoring.

Joseph Parker won a highly-debated split decision over Chisora in Manchester, and Whyte felt it was a robbery against Chisora (32-11, 23 KO) on the cards.

“Boxing’s mad, man. Derek Chisora got robbed tonight,” Whyte said on his Instagram. “Derek Chisora is not my favorite person, as everyone knows, there isn’t a lot of love between me and Derek Chisora, but Derek Chisora fought his heart out tonight and I thought he won the fight by at least two rounds. I think he got robbed tonight and it’s very unfair.

“The guy left it on the line. He dropped Joseph Parker in the first round and I think he won five or six rounds after that. The knockdown should have been a 10-8 round, and I think he won the next six rounds after that! … And then he won round 10 and round 12! Boxing’s fucked up, man.”

Whyte is hardly alone on this one. It was a close fight, but even the closest cards out there — unofficial, of course — seem to have mostly favored Chisora over Parker (29-2, 21 KO). And Chisora wants a rematch:
