Frank Warren confident in Tyson Fury win over Joshua

The promoter of the current WBC heavyweight champion TysonFury – Frank Warren has stated that there’s no reason why Fury won’t be able to beat the unified heavyweight champ, Anthony Joshua.

Just two months ago “The Gyspy King” destroyed Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas, opening the route to an undisputed heavyweight showdown between him and Joshua.

But before that, both Brits will have to go through their mandatories. For Joshua that is Bulgaria’s Kubrat Pulev, while Fury will fave Wilder for a third time later this year.

And if both parties are successful in their defenses, then there shouldn’t be any hurdles left for scheduling Fury – Joshua.

“Tyson will do to Joshua exactly what he did to Wilder,” Warren told The Express. “What people forget about Fury is that he’s got a very strong chin.

“He’s got a great boxing brain, he’s got great hand speed, he’s got great footwork, he’s brave, we’ve seen him get off the floor.

“We’ve seen him do all of that, AJ was terribly exposed against Andy Ruiz Jr. He got absolutely exposed and in the second fight, Ruiz Jr was even heavier than he should have been, totally out of condition. AJ trained hard, it’s what you should do as a pro, he fought on the back foot. But I look at it this way.”
