Gervonta Davis indicted on 14 counts for alleged hit-and-run accident

More bad news outside of the ring for Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis, who has just been indicted by a grand jury on 14 different counts of traffic violations, all stemming from a November 5th accident where Davis was accused of a hit-and-run.

Among other charges, which can all be read here by WMAR Baltimore, Davis has been accused of driving on a revoked license and failure to remain at the scene of an accident involving bodily injury.

Cameras captured a Lamborghini traveling down MLK Blvd, running a red light, and crashing into the front passenger side of a Toyota Solara. Gervonta Davis was identified as the driver by witnesses. To make matters worse, gathered videos of the incident allegedly show a black Camaro arriving at the scene to aid Davis in fleeing the scene, being sure to first transfer some unnamed items from the Lamborghini to the Camaro before leaving. The four occupants of the Toyota Solara were injured as result of the crash and had to be transferred to University of Maryland Shock Trauma.

Davis, 26, last fought in November, knocking out Leo Santa Cruz in highlight reel fashion. If convicted on all charges, Davis will be facing up to seven years in prison.
