Hard work marked the second day of the KWU International Professional League camp

A lot of hard work and dedication marked the first training session of the second day of the ongoing KWU International Professional League camp.

The event is being held at “Arena Armeec” in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Although the participants were involved in three heavy sessions yesterday, the second kicked off with a healthy dose of adrenalin. The main instructors Semmy Schilt, Ernesto Hoost, Peter Aerts and Shihan Alexandr Pichkunov were obviously pleased with what they saw.

“I really want to say “Thank you” for the dedication and the desire you demonstrate”, Shilt said to the instructors. The four-time K-1 Grand Prix champion continued to work with them, emphasizing the importance of a good warm-up. This time the focus was on the many different exercises one should do at the beginning of the workout.

The participants were once again divided into three groups. Ernesto Hoost and Peter Aerts were working with the pro kickboxing, karate Kyokushin and muay Thai fighters.

Hoost was big on fainting, but he was also demonstrating different combos with all his limbs.

Meanwhile, Peter Aerts was also consistent. He warned the fighter that he’ll be solely focused on the importance of the right distance and the basics. Aerts showcased some great defensive skills and different counterattacks with the legs.

The fourth master class of 2021 is taking place at “Arena Armeec” in Sofia, Bulgaria and it will end on Sunday. The camp will produce a total of 7 training sessions throughout the next three days. Fighters from 11 countries are taking part in the major event.
