Hooker and Iaquinta agree to fight

Al Iaquinta and Dan Hooker have verbally agreed to fight at UFC 243 on Oct. 5 in Melbourne, Australia, ESPN reports. It is expected the bout to be singed in dew days.

The event will take place at “Marvel Stadium”. The promotion is hoping to draw approximately 60,000 fans, which would be a record.

Iaquinta (14-5-1) will look to rebound following a unanimous decision loss to Donald Cerrone in May.

Hooker (18-8) knocked out James Vick last month in San Antonio.

He wanted to share the bill with his good friend and training partner Israel Adesanya, who meets Robert Whittaker in the main event for the unified middleweight title.
