Hristiyan Korunchev with another showstopping perfomance at SENSHI 5

Bulgaria’s Hristiyan Korunchev claimed his second SENSHI win yesterday at SENSHI 5 in Varna, Bulgaria.

One of the most promising Bulgarian fighters defeated Serbia’s Ljubo Jalovi via UD. The fight was conducted under the KWU Full Contact rules in the -80 kg category.

Exactly one year after the debut of SENSHI in Varna, Korunchev won his second outing under the organization’s banner.

Fight fans expected way more fireworks from the Serbian fighter who has also participated in the first edition of SENSHI. Both Korunchev and Jalovi are WAKO PRO kickboxing champions.

Korunchev began the fight with a brutal left hook that stunned his Serbian opponent. The Bulgarian was clearly the aggressor in the first round, trying to score a KO. More often than not, Korunchev was finishing his combos with a proper kick to the body or the legs of Jalovi who seemed pretty unmatched.

Jalovi’s stamina started to go down in the second round, as Korunchev was landing hard kicks to the body of his adversary. Jalovi tried to put some pressure on Hristiyan with his jab, but most of the time they were telegraphed.

The final round saw Korunchev going straight for the knockout, but Ljubo took all of Korunchev shots and somehow made it to the final bell, losing on all three score cards.
