Muay Thai legend retires

Former WBC Muay Thai World Super welterweight champion and two-time Lumpinee Stadium ruler – Yodsanklai Fairtex has decided to call it a career.

Nicknamed “The Boxing Computer”, Fairtex was one of the finest Muay Thai specialists the world has ever seen. The 35-year-old announced his decision to retire via Instagram post.

Yodsanklai is a multiple-time Muay Thai world champion with more than 300 fights under his belt. That is not the first time he announced his retirement. Back in 2017, he said that he won’t be fighting anymore, but several months later he declared he’ll be joining ONE FC.

Yodsanklai fought six times under Asia’s premier fighting league’s banner, winning three and losing three.
