Paul Daley vs. Erick Silva added to Bellator 222 in London

A couple of welterweight finishers were just added to Bellator’s next trip to England. According to the promotion, veterans Paul Daley and Erick Silva are now expected to square off at Bellator 222, in the country’s capital of London.

One of the division’s hardest-hitting strikers, Daley (40-17-2) will try to snap a two-fight losing skid, with unanimous decision losses to Michael Page and Jon Fitch in his most recent outings. Before that, ‘Semtex’ scored a knockout win over fellow Octagon alum Lorenz Larkin back in September 2017.

Still looking for a win under the Bellator banner, Erick Silva (20-9-1 NC) made his debut back in February, but dropped an unanimous decision to Yaroslav Amosov. Before the loss, the 34-year-old scored a submission win over Nick Barners in July 2018 at Legacy Fighting Alliance 45.

The card will be headlined by a middleweight title fight between the champion, Gegard Mousasi and challenger Rafael Lovato Jr. James Gallagher will also compete on the June 22nd card.
