Prograis’s win overtruned to TKO

The latest win of former world light-welterweight champion Regis Prograis has been overturned to a TKO win after a review by the Georgia Athletic and Entertainment Commission..

Prograis, 32, defeated Ukraine’s Ivan Redkach this past Saturday night on the undercard of Jake Paul and Ben Askren.

The American finished Redkach in the sixth round, but initially, the ref ruled it a technical decision after Prograis was ruled to have landed an unintentional low blow from which Redkach couldn’t continue.

According to Georgia state regulations, if a fighter should not be able to continue from an unintentional low blow, they shall be ruled a loser by technical knockout.
