The Ring Magazine ranks Deontay Wilder #1

The former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder has been ranked at the number one position in the latest Ring magazine boxing heavyweight rankings.

“The Bronze Bomber” returned to action this October when he KO’d Robert Helenius in the very first round of their encounter.

The Ring Magazine current champion is the unified heavyweight champion of the world Oleksandr Usyk who won the vacant belt when he defeated Anthony Joshua in September. The Ring Magazine belt was owned by Tyson Fury, but “The Gypsy King” had to release the belt.

Champ – Oleksandr Usyk

3: Joe Joyce
4: Andy Ruiz Jr
5: Dillian Whyte
6: Luis Ortiz

Wilder will probably fight former unified champion Andy Ruiz for the chance of getting a WBC title shot.
