Scott Coker: Ryan Bader is the best heavyweight

Bellator President Scott Coker believes that Bellator light heavyweight and heavyweight champion – Ryan Bader (27-5) is currently the best heavyweight fighter in the world of mixed martial arts.

Coker shared his opinion on his Twitter account right after UFC 241 where Stipe Miocic defeated Daniel Cormier and many fans and experts gave their opinions that Miocic is undoubtedly the best heavyweight to ever do it.

Bader, 36, won the heavyweight title this January following a TKO victory over Fedor Emelianenko at Bellator 214. “Darth” is set to defend the heavyweight throne for the first time on September 7 against Cheick Kongo (30-10-2) at Bellator 226 in San Jose, California.

Bader is still undefeated under the Bellator banner. He left UFC at the beginning of 2017 and hold a 5-0 record in his “new” home.
