SENSHI Cup draw and format

For the first time ever, Bulgaria will be hosting a unique Kyokushin event. “SENSHI Cup” will take place in Resort Complex Kamchia on the seaside on July 4-5. This time the fighting gala will be including only Kyokushin fights and they will be conducted under the KWU International Professional League rules (Full contact Kyokushin Karate).

This way, the third edition of the newest fighting championship in Bulgaria will be dedicated entirely to the Kyokushin and there will be no kickboxing or muay thai bouts. The other major difference compared to the two previous ones will be that the event will be held two days – on 4th (qualifications and semi-finals) and 5th (finals) of July.

“SENSHI Cup” will take place during the XIII KWU INTERNATIONAL SUMMER CAMP KAMCHIA 30.06- 07.07.2019.

38 karatekas from 12 countries are set to participate in the event, including a lot of World and European Kyokushin champions – Russia, Ukraine, Armenia, Kazakhstan,  Turkey, Belarus, Romania, Hungary, Brasil, Iran, Tajikistan, and Bulgaria. There will be seven weight classes: -65 kg, -70 kg, -75 kg, -80 kg, -85 kg, -95 kg and +95 kg.
