Takayasu not slowing down at the Haru Basho

“Komusubi” Takayasu is carrying on with his exceptional performance at the ongoing Great Spring Sumo Tournament in Tokyo, Japan.

The 31-year-old Japanese claimed its 8th win on the ninth day of the “Haru Basho”, defeating “Maegashira-1” Onosho which improved his record to 8-1.

Tagonoura’s finest is the leader of the pack after the first nine days with only two wrestlers staying right behind him with a 7-2 record.

Tomorrow the leader will face “Ozeki” Takakeisho who owns a 6-3 record.
